SHREVEPORT, Louisiana - To say that these three players were a total surprise in the All-Star Bowl Game Classic would be an understatement, but they were sensational all week, during practice. WR Ricky Price of Houston Cy-Falls, Texas was selected as the Offensive MVP of the Game and DE Matthew Featherston of Poughkeepsie, New York and FS Chad Beverage of Shreveport Airline, Louisiana were selected as the Co-Defensive MVP'S of the Game, but there were some outstanding MVP's!

Wide receiver Ricky Price (6-0, 185, 4.38) of Houston Cy-Falls, Texas was selected as the Offensive MVP of the Game and defensive end Matthew Featherston (6-2, 230, 4.5) of Poughkeepsie, New York and free safety Chad Beverage (6-1, 235, 4.5) of Shreveport Airline, Louisiana were selected as the Co-Defensive MVP'S of the Game! Neither Featherston or Beverage had a scholarship offer before the game. Price signed with Oklahoma State, while Featherston signed with Texas A&M and Beverage with Louisiana Tech.
