JoJo Cox is one of the most sensational running backs I have ever seen in this year or in any year. He averaged an eye-popping 13-yards per carry as a junior. He will play for the East Team in the 2006 All-American Bowl Game Classic!

2005 ELITE 125 JOJO COX IS AN AWESOME RUNNING BACK*
TWIGGS COUNTY, Georgia - I certainly do not know where Twiggs County, Georgia is, but I can certainly tell you where there is a fabulous running back and they both are in the same area in Georgia. On film, JoJo Cox is one of the best running backs that I have ever seen. When you consider that he averaged an "eye-popping" 13.0 yards per carry as a junior, you can understand why I think that he is Special. Here is his Story.

TWIGGS COUNTY, GEORGIA - JoJo has just picked up another offer from Penn State" said Head Coach Dexter Copeland. "Of course, if Auburn offers it will be over. They called yesterday and said they will be down for our spring practice."
TWIGGS COUNTY, Georgia - I certainly do not know where Twiggs County, Georgia is, but I can certainly tell you where there is a fabulous running back and they both are in the same area in Georgia. On film, JoJo Cox (5-10, 225, 4.35) is one of the best running backs that I have ever seen. When you consider that he averaged an "eye-popping" 13.0 yards per carry as a junior, you can understand why I think that he is a Special Running Back.
Coach Dexter Copeland sent me the highlights of his star running back and after watching the film, I can honestly say that I have not seen many better than Cox. He had at least eight 75 runs or better and he is not ever caught from behind, so how could one recruiting service have him listed as having 4.86 speed in the forty?
Coach Copeland, how you can explain that slow forty time that one of the other recruiting services has listed for Cox?
"JoJo went to a NIKE Camp last summer and he was running his first forty and he pulled-up lame with about 8-yards to go and he hobbled to the finish line," said Coach Copeland. "JoJo runs a very consistant 4.4 in the forty and he dipped to a 4.35 at one clocking last fall."
"For the last two years, JoJo has split time with another running back, Octaviuos Holston, who rushed for around a 1,000-yards in each year," said Coach Copeland, "but this coming year, Cox will not have to share the load and I expect him to get between 2,500 and 3,000-yards."
As a junior, splitting time, JoJo Cox rushed for 1,860-yards on 143 carries for a nice 13.0 average per carry. He only played in eight games so he averaged 232.5-yards per game. He also scored 15 touchdowns. He carries a fine 2.85 GPA and he should have no problem being a full qualifier.
Cox has already committed to play in our 2006 Second Annual All-American Bowl Game Classic. Cox (#1 RB in Georgia) will team with some unbleivable running back talent on the East Team that will include Cordera Eason (#1 RB in Mississippi); Terry Grant and Derrick Davis (#2 and #3 RB's in Mississippi); and Norman Whitley (#1 RB in North Carolina).
Cox has early offers from Tennessee, Maryland, and Clemson. |
