Broderick Green has gone from being an unknown prospect to a Blue Chip tag with over 10 "Big-Time" offers in less than 7 days!

THIS RECRUITING STORY MAY BE THE MOST INCREDIBLE RECRUITING STORY EVER!

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas -  In over 30 years of high school football recruiting stories and evaluations, I honestly can not remember a story like this one. In less than 7 days, a prospect has gone from being a totally unknown prospect to one of the top running back prospects in the country and with offers from Southern Cal, Penn State, Georgia Tech, and Arkansas, to name a few.

MARCH 7, 2006

INCREDIBLE RECRUITING STORY OF THE YEAR!

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas - In over 30 years of high school football evaluations, I honestly can not remember a story like this one. In less than 7 days, a prospect has become a totally unknown prospect to one of the top running back prospects in the country with offers from Southern Cal, Penn State, Georgia Tech, and Arkansas, to name a few.

A couple of weeks ago, I was working on an Arkansas Top 25 Playmakers List and I had a pretty good 22 or 23 players and I decided to add a player by the name of Broderick Green to that List. I did not know much about him, but his Little Rock Pulaski Academy team was pretty powerful last season and they already had a few Division I players on it so I figured that he might be one also.

Head Coach Kevin Kelley had brought his team to my 2005 Third Annual 7on7 National Championship in Fort Worth last summer and I looked on his team roster, but I could not find Broderick Green on their roster. I just figured that he was just not on their 7on7 team.

Then about five days ago, Coach Kelley sent me a beautiful, well-organized, and very professional video highlight tape of his three top Division I college prospects, that included QB Stefan Loucks, RB Broderick Green, and WR/CB Brian Langford. I remember watching and evaluating both Loucks and Langford last summer, so I immediately clicked on to the Special Video so that I could watch and evaluate Green, who I had never seen play.

Coach Kelley and I have become very good friends in the last few years and I have continued to evaluate his players and I have always  tried to give his players some added publicity. I figured that these three players would and could need some added publicity and maybe one of them would be good enough to be invited to play in my 2007 All-American Bowl Game.

The six players that are listed in the left column under MAX MONDAY VIDEO MADNESS are "Five-Frame" players and Broderick Green is also one of those type players. A "Five-Frame" player is a player that after a college coach watches him play in his first five frames or plays, he immediately turns off the video and he then will FedEx the player an official scholarship offer. These guys are also commonly called "Fivers" and you know the reason why.

Consider The Broderick Green Video: First Play: 85-yard Touchdown run; Second Play: 65-yard Touchdown Run; Third Play: 30-yard Touchdown Run; Fourth Play: 55-yard Touchdown Run; Fifth Play: 75-yard Touchdown Run; Sixth Play: 70-yard Touchdown Run; and Seventh Play: 40-yard Touchdown Run. That is a "Seven-Frame" set, but you get the point.

Green (6-1, 230, 4.5) is an unbelievable tailback who has great vision and a great stiff-arm. Every single touchdown run that he made, he had at least one major stiff-arm to knock at least one defender completely off of his feet.

His season stats were not staggering with 1,664-yards rushing on 196 carries and 21 touchdowns, but this is a pass-oriented team that the quarterback, Loucks, threw for 4,182-yards and 43 touchdowns. Green also averaged 8.5 yards per carry, but I must have seen all of his long touchdowns.

He is equally dangerous catching the football coming out of the backfield. For the season, he recorded 45 catches for 563-yards and five more touchdowns. Also remember that this was his first year to play tailback.

It was also his first year at Pulaski Academy. He already has the body of an NFL athlete, but he has never lifted weights before. Green is now in the off-season weight program and he is getting stronger every day.

"I forgot to tell you that Broderick Green was not known by any recruiters from any schools or any recruiting gurus such as yourself until last week," said Coach Kelley, "because he did not play at Pulaski Academy last year."

Green is a non exaggerated 6-1, 230-235 pound player and an unbelievable athlete. In the last five days, he has received offers from Southern California, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Kansas, Penn State, and Georgia Tech.

I believe that Coach Pete Carroll called Coach Kelley and Green after the fifth play play, because he made the call sooner than later.  "I was on the line with Coach Carroll and Green," said Coach Kelley, "and it was a huge thrill for both of us."

Coach Kelley only sent out this video one week ago so I'm sure that Green will have many more offers.

After watching this Video, I immediately emailed Coach Kelley and extended to him and Broderick Green an invitation to play in my 2007 All-American Bowl Game.

Coach Kelley will talk to Green about playing in our game, but in the meantime, I have re-rated him from a 6.42 to a 6.52. A 6.52 is a National Top 100 Player. With offers from Four Major Conferences (Southern California, Penn State, Arkansas, and Georgia Tech) and more coming, Broderick Green is the hottest tailback in the country right now.
