Thumbnail QB Zach Conque (6-4, 210, 4.6) of Little Rock Catholic, Arkansas - Conque (pronounced "Conk") is an outstanding athletic dropback quarterback who has been very impressive in a few Super Combines and Camps this Spring.

In the recent John Shuman National Underclassman Combine at Searcy, Arkansas, Conque was voted as the Co-MVP quarterbac
k in the passing drills and he also ran a lazer 4.7 in the forty which means that he can run much faster that his reported 4.7. Conque also demonstrated great touch and accuracy in the passing drills at the Searcy Super Combine.

In a typical game for Conque as a junior, against Russelleville, he passed for 306-yards and a touchdown and ran for another touchdown as they won by a 56-21 score.

Conque has tremendous bloodlines in football as his dad, Clint Conque, is the Head Football Coach at Central Arkansas University and young Conque has grown up with his dad and his Coaching techniques. On the field, Conque is like having another coach on the football field.

Conque joins his Little Rock Catholic teammate,
Quinta Thomas (5-10, 184, 4.33) who is also on our Max Emfinger Elite 7on7 All-Stars Team. Conque will also join our other 7on7 All-Star quarterback, Brandon Fields, who was the John Shuman National Underclassman Combine MVP at Zachary, Louisiana as a freshman and again as a sophomore.

At that same John Shuman NUC Combine in Searcy, Arkansas that Conque was voted the Co-MVP Quarterback, his teammate,
Quinta Thomas was Voted as the Super Combine King as he ran the second fastest fory with a 4.44 clocking on a slow lazer surface. Thomas was also spectacular in the drills catching the football out of the backfield.

In the Badger 7on7 Tourney, Conque was one of our most impressive players. He demonstrated great leadership in leading our team on and off of the field. In the tournament, Conque threw nine touchdown passes, including the winning 40-yard Winning Touchdown pass to Rising Junior Larry Clark with 28 seconds left in the game. I think that Conque is one of the best quarterbacks that I have seen play this year. Conque will also play in our 2011 All-American Bowl Game Classic. - 1,780 MEARS RATING

Thumbnail On Sunday March 13, I went to a workout of Brandon Fields (6-1, 185, 4.6) who is a potential quarterback for my Max Emfinger's Elite 7on7 All-Star Team and I was very impressed with him. Fields was being worked out by former LSU Super Star Quarterback Tommy Hodson and I liked the way that Fields was working and passing the football under Coach Hodson's tutelage.

I had heard about Fields, who is a Rising Junior, because he was a Star at one of the recent Under Armour Underclassman Combine Camps. Then I found out that Fields and Coach Hodson were working out in Baton Rouge and I decided to attend the workout.

Fields has a very strong arm and he is very athletic. In fact, he is a very impressive physical specimen for a quarterback and I found out that he does close to 20 reps of 185 pounds on the bench press and also does a very good 4.36 in the pro-agility shuttle. These are outstanding feats for a quarterback.

As a Freshman, Fields went to one of the John Shuman's 2010 National Underclassman Freshman Quarterback MVP and he won the MVP Award again as a sophomore. Fields has been attending Baton Rouge University High School, but he has recently transferred to St Michael High School.

I have been impressed with Fields and his passing and I have invited him to be one of my quarterbacks. I believe that we are getting ready to put together an outstanding 7on7 team and I believed that Fields could be one of our stars.

Fields was pretty impressive in the 7on7 Badger Tournament as he passed for seven touchdowns and completed 23 of 28 passes in the tournament. Fields did a great job, as a Rising Junior, as he demonstrated great leadership qualities on a Rising Senior-laden team. Another impressive thing about Fields was his ability to throw at least one touchdown pass to every single receiver on our team. - 1,710 MEARS RATING

Thumbnail Charles "Fast" Davis (5-7, 180, 4.37, 41, 4.01, 120, 23 Reps) of Indianapolis Avon, Indiana is a Rising Senior and he of one of the fastest and most impressive little running backs that I have seen play in this Recruiting Class.

Davis is also a Super Combine Freak with bests of a 4.37 in the forty; a tremendous 41-inch vertical jump; a 4.
01 in the pro-agility shuttle; a 120 in the Standing Broad Jump; and an outstanding 23 Reps of 185 on the bench press. Davis also has an impressive 300-pound bench press and an equally impressive 295-pound hang clean.

On his highlight film, Davis runs away from the defenders and he reminds me of a couple players that played in our recent Seventh Annual All-American Bowl Game. Terrence Tusan (5-7, 165, 4.3, 40) averaged over 13 yards per carry for Euless-Trinity as a senior and he averaged 19.8-yards per touch in our All-American Bowl Game with three catches and three carries.

Another Slot Back in our game was Quan Johnson (5-6, 155, 4.4, 40 VJ) caught six passes for 151-yards. Both players were voted as MVP's in the game. I look at Davis as the same type of Playmaker who can score and change the complexion of the game on any touch that he makes.

I am looking forward to seeing Davis play in our Eighth Annual All-American Bowl Game, and I am also very excited that he will also play on our Emfinger Elite 7on7 All-Star Team. On both teams, I have invited him to play and he has accepted to play.

Davis did not disappoint me in the 7on7 Badger Tournament. I think that Davis caught several touchdown passes, but I don't think that we got the football to him enough. When he did get the football, he was the elusive player that I knew that he would be in the Tourney. -  1,840 MEARS RATING

Thumbnail RB/SLOT
Quinta Thomas (5-10, 184, 4.4) of Little Rock Catholic, Arkansas - Thomas is a great little running back who is outstanding on his highlight film. Thomas is also a very good pass receiver coming out of the backfield and I believe that he will be a great Slot Receiver at the next level.

Although it is still very early in the Recruiting Season, Thomas is already Flying Under the Recruiting Radar, but that is getting ready to change. I was able to find Thomas on his highlight film and the college coaches will also be able to find him.

Thomas has also posted some very impressive Super Combine bests, including a 36-inch vertical jump; a 4.11 in the pro-agility shuttle; and a 118 Standing Broad Jump. He also has a best of a 250 pound bench press; 20 Reps of 185 in the bench press; and a very impressive 250 pound hang clean.

Nearly 120 athletes from the state of Arkansas attended the second annual NUC Combine at Searcy Lions football stadium in Mid-March on a Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon. Thomas was voted as the Super Combine King as he posted the second fastest forty with a 4.44 on a very slow field.

I was so impressed with Thomas on his highlight film, I immediately invited him to play in our Elite 7on7 All-Star Team and also our Eighth Annual All-American Bowl Game and he has accepted to do both. - 1,768 MEARS RATING

Thumbnail RB/SLOT Antonio Marshall (5-10, 187, 4.4) of Slidell, Louisiana - Marshall is an outstanding offensive player who is great at running the football and catching the football coming out of the backfield.

As a junior, Marshall carried the football 23 times, but gained 523 yards and averaged an incredible 22.7 yards per carry, mostly on reverses. He also caught 42 passes for 632-yards and averaged 15.1 yards per catch. He also scored 12 touchdowns.

Marshall has been Flying Under the Radar for the most part of this recruiting season, but that is about to change. At his first 7on7 practice, Marshall made a couple great catches from his running back spot and I think that he will be a tremendous success in our 7on7 tournament. - 1,720 MEARS RATING

WR Larry Clark (6-0, 170, 4.45) of Baton Rouge Scotlandville Magnet School, Louisiana - Clark is an outstanding Rising Junior who was a member of the All-District Team as a sophomore.

As a sophomore, Clark caught 34 passes for 650-yards and three touchdowns. Clark has excellent hands and great concentration and he has been working very hard for the last three Sunday 7on7 practices.

I really think that Clark will make some great catches in our 7on7 competition that will vault him to some college coaches recruiting lists. Clark will also have a chance to play with fellow Rising Junior players, including QB Brandon Fields and WR Shelby Christy and they all will play in the 2012 All-American Bowl Game Classic. -

Clark made some impressive catches in the Badger 7on7 Tourney, but none were more impresive than the clutch 40-yard winning touchdown catch, from Zach Conque, with 28-seconds left in the game. - 1,700 MEARS RATING

WR/CB Tre Richardson, 5-7, 175, 4.4, 36 VJ, 4.2 SH, 20 Reps, Jennings, LA - Richardson is a speedy little running back who has worked very hard to be a part of this Super Elite 7on7 Team. - 1,660 MEARS RATING

Thumbnail FLK Khris Watkins (6-2, 210, 4.5) of Jennings, Louisiana - Watkins is one of those players who shows-up at a Combine or Camp or 7on7 Practice and after it is over, you have to wonder where he has been and why he is not on every college coaches list. Watkins emailed me one day and said that he would like to play on our Emfinger Super South Select 7on7 Team.

After I checked to see if I could find out anything about Khristopher Watkins and could not, I emailed him back and told him that I would invite him to a tryout practice and he said OK. I did find out that Watkins played tight end for Jennings High School team in Jennings, Louisiana. He told me over the phone that he really was a wide receiver, but that they had put him at tight end, because he was 6-2 and 210. His team was not a passing team, but he said that he had caught 10 touchdown passes as a junior. Jennings really did not throw the football very much and so he never got too many chances to catch passes.

Then I was astonished to find out that Watkins did catch ten touchdown passes, as a junior, for a high school team that did not throw the football very much and then when his school went to the District meeting to select the All-District Team, the District Coaches selected him as the All-District Tight End. Then, I checked the 2010 Louisiana 4A All-State Team and Khris Watkins name was on it as an Honorable Mention tight end and they had selected three wide receivers and no tight ends to the All-State Team.

The most impressive asset about Watkins is that he is a big and strong wide receiver who can catch the football and he has the good to great speed for a big receiver. Jarvis Landry, O'Dell Beckham, and Ronald Martin were three of the best wide receiver prospects that I have seen lately and they all three signed with LSU this year. I worked all three of them and Martin and Beckham were at my Super Elite Top Gun Camp and I can tell you that I was impressed with all three of them as wide receivers and their excellent hands.

Watkins has as good of hands as any of the three players that signed with LSU and he is a lot bigger than all three of them. Watkins could be the surprise of the Badger 7on7 Tournament. - 1,750 MEARS RATING

Thumbnail FLK Caleb Cornett (6-3, 184, 4.5, 36 VJ, 4.24 SH, 116 SBJ) of Indianapolis Ben Davis, Indiana - Cornett is an outstanding wide receiver who can make the big catch over the middle. When I watched his highlight film, Cornett just kept making huge catch after another. In fact, on one play, he went-up for a ball in the end zone with two defenders on his back and he came down with the football for a touchdown.

Cornett also has some pretty impressive measurables with a 36 vertical jump; a 116 Standing Broad Jump; and a 4.24 pro shuttle. With his catching ability, great height, and great measurables, it is amazing that he does not have over twenty offers, but I think that this is going to change.

Cornett is so very impressive on his highlight film and I was so impressed with him, I asked him if he would like to play on our Super Select 7on7 All-Star Team and he immediately accepted. I really believe that Cornett can be one of our stars at the Badger 7on7 Regional Tournament. - 1,728 MEARS RATING

FLK Shelby Christy (6-3, 170, 4.5) of Dutchtown, Louisiana - On Sunday March 13, I went to a workout to watch and evaluate a quarterback by the name of  Brandon Fields (6-1, 185, 4.6) who was going to be a potential quarterback for my Select 7on7 Team and I was very impressed with him. The one thing that I did not expect to see at the workout was a 6-3 wide receiver from Dutchtown who had just won the Louisiana State Indoor Long Jump Championship and was catching all types of passes from Fields; but to my shock and gleeful surprise, I did.

Then, when you throw-in his 22-6.5 State Indoor Championship in the long jump and 45-9 in the triple jump, you have an athlete that is just getting started in his athletic career.

I have now evaluated Christy on his highlight film and he made some catches as a sophomore on the #3 5A Team in the State of Louisiana that you simply can not coach. You wake-up in the morning with this God-Given talent.

I really like Christy and I have invited him to join Brandon Fields and Charles "Fast" Davis of Avon, Indiana as my first three committed players for the Emfinger 7on7 All-Star team. Later, Christy won the District 6-5A Long Jump with 21-7 and got second in Triple Jump with 45-5. - 1,720 MEARS RATING

Thumbnail LB/SS Richie Brown 6-2, 225, 4.4, of Long Beach, Mississippi - Brown is one of the best middle or inside linebackers that I have seen in awhile. Last year, as a junior, Brown recorded 151 tackles; had three sacks; and returned two fumbles for a touchdown. When he was only a sophomore, he recorded an incredible 162 tackles; so in the last two years, Brown has recorded a pretty amazing 313 tackles.

On his highlight film, Brown uses his tremendous speed to make tackles on both sidelines and most of the tackles in the middle of the field. He is relentless in his pursuit to the ball and it seems like he is in on every single tackle and his motor is going at 110% on every play. He is a great team player and he has an outstanding work ethic.

I am totally shocked that Brown does not have over 20 offers. He has a few offers, but that will change pretty soon, because all three State schools in Mississippi, including Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss, plus Auburn are recruiting him. I am so impressed with Brown, I have invited him to play in my Eighth Annual All-American Bowl Game.

Brown runs the anchor leg on both the 4X100 and 4X200 relay teams and he will still be in track when the Emfinger 7on7 All-Stars go to Birmingham on Friday, but he was with the team on Saturday.

In the Badger 7on7 Tourney, Zach Conque (6-4, 215, 4.6) of Little Rock Catholic, Arkansas was one of our most impressive players on offense, but Brown was our most impressive player on defense. Brown is a True Freak on the Football Field with sprinter's speed and playing middle linebacker. He could be a strong safety in college. On one play, Brown covered a speedy running back down the field and intercepted the football when the quarterback still threw the football to him, although Brown had him covered like a glove. - 1,820 MEARS RATING

LB/SS Brian Anderson (6-1, 225, 4.56) of Little Rock Central, Arkansas - Anderson is an outstanding linebacker who plays all over the field and he also makes tackles all over the field. On one play, he will line-up on the outside and another, he will line up at middle linebacker. Sometimes, Anderson lines-up as a standup defensive end.

As a junior, Anderson recorded 73 solo tackles of which 12 were for a loss. He also had 32 assisted tackles; three quarterback sacks; six pass deflections; and forced four fumbles. On one play, he picked up a fumble and ran it into the end-zone and on this play, you could see that he is a pretty fast middle linebacker who could probable play on the outside and maybe even a strong safety. Anderson has also run a 4.32 in the Pro-Shuttle and has done 24 reps of 185 on the bench press.

For this reason, I have invited him to play on our Max Emfinger Super Select 7on7 All-Stars Team and he has accepted. His cousin, Quinta Thomas, of Little Rock Catholic is also on the 7on7 All-Star Team. - 1,780 MEARS RATING

Thumbnail SS/LB Henry Taylor (6-0, 200, 4.5) of Baton Rouge Scotlandville, Louisiana is an undersized middle linebacker with tremendous speed and cover ability to play strong safety. As a junior, Taylor was selected as the All-District Middle Linebacker, but he is such a great athlete, I believe that he can play either outside linebacker or strong safety at the next level.

On one Sunday, Taylor came to Doug Williams Stadium for our 7on7 tryout and practice and I immediately realized that he was a Special athlete that I needed on my Select 7on7 All-Stars Team. On his first play, he lined up at middle linebacker and guarded a running back man-to-man all the way down the field and then deflected the pass away from the running back in the end-zone.

I later found out that Taylor was originally a strong safety, but was moved to middle linebacker so he could get in on more tackles. As a junior, Taylor recorded 108 tackles and two interceptions, but this does not tell the whole story, because he also had 12 pass deflections.

After we did our workout, we worked on pro-agility shuttles and standing broad jumps. I was very impressed with a few of our players as they did some pretty outstanding shuttles, but although he was playing linebacker, Taylor recorded the best pro-shuttle of the day as he did an unbelievable 4.3 in the shuttle.

Taylor will become a valued member of our Emfinger Select 7on7 All-Stars Team, because he can play linebacker or strong safety. Taylor is also an unbelievable physical specimen. In fact, he is the best that I have seen in this recruiting class. - 1,750 MEARS RATING

FS/CB Lloyd Brown (5-9, 185, 4.4, 36 VJ, 4.23 SH, 118 SBJ, 18 Reps) of Slidell, Louisiana - Brown is a tremendous athletic playmaker who can play any of the defensive back positions. Brown is also a Super Combine Freak with bests of 4.23 in the shuttle; a 118 in the Standing Broad Jump; and a pretty impressive 18 reps of 185 on the bench press. Brown has also really never been coached on how to do these Combine feats and I believe that he can do a 4.0 Flat in the shuttle.

Brown also runs the anchor leg on the 4x100 and 4x200 relays, along with running the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes. His best in the 100 meters is a 11.1 and his best in the 200 meters is a 22.6.

As a junior, Brown recorded 56 tackles, including 8 tackles for a loss which is pretty impressive for a defensive back. He played some at linebacker to take advantage of his speed and aggressiveness. Brown also blocked three punts.

Brown is a very good player, but he has been Flying Under the Recruiting Radar for most of this recruiting season. I think that he will be a very good player for The Emfinger Super Select 7on7 All-Stars and he could be one of our best players in the Badger Tournament. - 1,740 MEARS RATING

FS/CB/ATH Garrett Simpson (5-9, 190, 4.38, 36 VJ, 4.1 SH, 119 SBJ, 12 REPS) of Baton Rouge Episcopal, Louisiana - Simpson is a tremendous athlete who has been playing out of position for the last three years in high school.

Simpson actually plays linebacker and he was one of the top tacklers on his team as a junior when he recorded 90 tackles, but he was playing linebacker. He also played fullback on offense, but he was used mostly as a blocker for the Episcopal tailback.

His high school team started off with an 8-0 record and they played Donaldsonville in Game #9. In this game Simpson carried the football on the first series and raced 39-yards, untouched, giving him a touchdown on his first carry of the season, and giving his team an early lead with just over a minute into the game.

His team went on to win that game with Donaldsonville by a 35-16 score, giving Episcopal an amazing 9-0 start. The next game, Simpson never carried the football and his team lost.

Simpson was impressive at the Max Emfinger's First Annual 2010 Super Elite Top Gun Camp and since he is such a great athlete and playing out of position, I think that he can be outstanding in a 7on7 where his great speed and linebacker experience will really be an asset.

For this reason, I have invited Simpson to play on our Emfinger 7on7 Super Select All-Star Team and he has accepted. With a best of 4.38 in the forty, Simpson can play any defensive position on the field in a 7on7 game. - 1,680 MEARS RATING
