Elam is an outstanding two-way athlete who will probably play on the defensive side of the football at the next level. He plays running back on offense, but he runs reverses and catches the football coming out of the backfield.

On defense, he plays strong safety, but he plays like a linebacker and he rushes the passer line a linebacker.

On his highlight film, he is very impressive, but he gave an early verbal committment to the Florida Gators.
