Hopkins is an offensive lineman that every D-I school is looking to play either left offensive tackle or left offensive guard. He plays left offensive tackle for one of the top teams in the country and one of the top teams ever in the State of Texas. As a junior, first team All-State in Texas is a very rare feat, but Hopkins achieved it.

He not only achieved it, he was one of the main reasons for his team to go undefeated. They simply controlled the line of scrimmage on offense. At 265 pounds, he is not overly big, but he has exceptional quickness and he is always looking for more blocks and leading runners down the field.

I really like this kid and I believe that he will be a great offensive lineman for Mack Brown and the Longhorns.
