Thomas is a real Freak at tight end. How many tight ends in the country can run a 4.5 in the forty at 245 pounds and can do a 39 inch vertical jump or even a 4.3 in the pro-shuttle, but he can. He averaged 21.6 yards per catch as a junior. I really like this kid and you can book-it. If he does not get hurt, he will become a college All-American tight end.

Thomas will also play wide receiver, linebacker, and defensive end as a senior. This gives him a tremendous amount of versatility which is very important to college coaches. He may be too big to play wide receiver, but he has the speed to play that position.

Thomas really likes the West Coast and Southern Cal and UCLA, but he also likes Oklahoma and LSU and the way that they use the tight end.
