White is an incredible player. In fact, he is a "Five Clip" player. After five Clips on the film projecter, if I am a college coach, I can turn off the projecter and offer him a scholarship. OK! Let's see. He caught 34 passes for 801 yards as a junior and he averaged 23.6 yards per catch. He also scored eleven times so that means that he scored a touchdown on approximately every third catch.
White also ran a 10.4 in the 100 meters; a 21.6 in the 200 meters; did a 23-10 in the long jump; a 48-1 in the triple jump; and anchored the 4x100 relay team. I believe that this kid may be one of the fastest football players in the country and I have invited him to play in the 2010 All-American Bowl Game Classic.
Since he was with the track team in the Spring, he did not get to do too much traveling and he did not get to go to any Super Combines or Super Camps. If he go to any of the Super Combines, he would definitely be a Super Combine Freak.
He did make some trips to some schools on an un-official visit in the summer, including one to Alabama.
White is not a real big wide or slot receiver, but he is incredibily fast off of the line of scrimmage. He runs great patterns and he catches anything that is near him. He was constantly double and triple-teamed as a junior, but he was still able to find the opening and catch the football. He is a real Freak on his highlight film.
Right now, at the start of the football season, White has offers from most of the BCS Football powerhouses in the country including, Notre Dame, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, LSU, Houston, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.
